The Floating
Decompression Treatment Program
Our
Floating Decompression physicians routinely
evaluates each case to rule out conditions that are
contraindicated. Severe and complex cases routinely
require specialized and in
depth history, physical and imaging
tests.

Those
patients that undergo evaluation, compatablity testing
and pass qualifying assessment criteria will be accepted
into the Lordex Floating Decompression Therapy
Program.
It has
been observed that over 95% of chronic low back pain is
due to an underlying instability referred to as
"mechanical spinal pathology". Because of muscle
atrophy and instability, neurocompression (nerve
pressure) is a common result from abnormal disc, vascular
or bone pressure.
A
prescribed series of decompression procedures, performed
by an expertly trained physician and staff, are indicated
for relief of severe and chronic low back
pain.
Floating
Decompression Therapy is an effective procedure for
chronic and severe low back pain because it reduces pressure caused by
gravity.
Clinical
results may vary, however patients with degenerative
disc, herniated disc, facet sydrome, sciatica, bulging
disc and spinal stenosis have reported good to
excellent response.
An
independent "Data Analysis" retrospectively showed a
statistically significant number of patients interviewed
for the study experienced this success.
After
completing the prescribed treatment protocol,
Decompression patients are frequently given a proactive
plan for prevention in order to provide long lasting
relief.
Our
conservative approach is combined with a patient
education related to options and other natural aids like
home care, nutrition, braces, etc. and give the "state of
the art" care for the relief of low back
pain.
