The
Spine

The spine is
composed of 24 freely moveable vertebra held together by
muscles, tendons and ligaments. This column of vertebrae has a
hole or canal in the center through which passes the spinal
cord that carries all the messages from the brain to the rest
of the body.
Each vertebrae is
separated from the one above and the one below by a
disc.
Pain can arise
from multiple points and last a few seconds or a lifetime.
Variables that result in chronic low back pain include
inherited, congenital or acquired components.
